The Letting Co is a lettings agency based in Wakefield. The agency managed around 400 houses, mostly based in Yorkshire but some as far afield as Milton Keynes, and wanted to see an increase in this number. Because they were a relatively new and small agency, they didn't have a regular stream of stories that would attract them attention through the media. A different approach was needed to get more landlords to sign up to use their services.
The Letting Co's Google rankings were quite poor, often appearing on the second page for popular search terms. By taking over the running of Facebook and Twitter, we targeted landlords with their unrivalled sign-up offer, as well as constantly linking back to the company's website. In addition, we wrote a regular blog on problems currently facing landlords on the news section on their website, making sure to use keywords that would see them appear higher in Google rankings.
Thanks to the constant updating of social media platforms as well as a regular blog, the company now appears prominently on the first page of popular search terms. In the first few months of working with The Letting Co, the company has seen a 10 per cent rise in the number of properties that they manage, coupled with new enquiries coming in every week. They have also seen popularity rise amongst Facebook and Twitter with their likes and follows going up incrementally.
