“I decided to give PR a go after spending thousands on advertising my regular toyfairs at Doncaster Racecourse. Kate and her team got me on BBC Look North and mentions in the national press with the first press release. Their contacts then gave me the opportunity to be featured as a toy “expert” on local radio. The result: an increase in the number of visitors to the fair, with people queuing around the block to get in. But Capital B Media also come up less traditional ways of getting publicity; their next approach was to make a short film about a toyfair, which they succeeded on getting posted on several newspaper websites.
