Launching a luxury events venue
"When working with clients to create their websites, a usual stumbling block that delays a project is content writing and creation. Capital B Media work with the client to generate content and copy suitable for the web. This working partnership, helps us turn around large, content-heavy web projects in a short period of time."
James Sheriff, director at Genius Division

the brief
Spicer Manor is a country house venue in Yorkshire which is available for private hire for three nights or more for weddings, corporate retreats and special occasions.
We were appointed to work alongside our creative partners Genius Division and Creativesmith, to create a strong brand identity, website, promotional leaflets and social media channels to launch the venue to potential holiday makers, corporate clients and brides and grooms to be.
-
the action
We provided professional copywriting services for the new website which was optimised for SEO. This included full room descriptions, as well as researching things to do in the local area and further afield in the Peak District. We also provided copywriting services for promotional leaflets to promote the venue at events and wedding fairs.
We supported the launch event where we invited journalists and bloggers to have an exclusive tour of the venue. We also created and managed the launch of Spicer Manor’s social media channels.
-
the outcome
We co-ordinated press and blogger invites for the opening which resulted in coverage in The Times newspaper and two bloggers sharing a tour of the house on their Instagram stories to over 3,000 followers (no fee paid).
We achieved engaged audiences of over 560 on Facebook and 460 on Instagram through well-planned organic content and only one paid advert during the campaign. On Instagram our posts had a combined organic reach of over 20,000. The client received 25 direct enquiries through the website during the campaign.
