Businesses urged to innovate

27 October 2010

Businesses in Barnsley are being urged to innovate to survive and grow in these challenging times.
Successful business owners, including a web designer and a surgical instrument manufacturer, will give tips on how they have innovated at a networking event in the town on Friday November 5th.
The event at the Barnsley Business and Innovation Centre (BBIC) at Wilthorpe is organised by Action 4 Business Ltd on behalf of Enterprising Barnsley.
Nigel Trant, director of Action 4 Business, said: “These days you must innovate to keep up and you must continue to innovate if you want to get ahead in business. Everything is changing so fast that to carrying on doing the same thing is business suicide.”
The event is free, open to all and runs from 10.15am to 12 noon. For more information and to book go to
