Countdown to Oktoberfest at Magna begins
15 September 2017
The countdown is on to Magna’s fourth annual Oktoberfest in Rotherham.
The German-themed event returns to Rotherham in just one month's time for a night full of beer, food and entertainment on Saturday 7 October.
Over the last three years, more than 4,000 people have attended Oktoberfest at Magna, which is thought to be the biggest of its kind in the region. Numbers are expected to be high again in 2017.
Drinks will be poured in pint-sized steins – traditional German beer mugs – and hungry guests can feast on frankfurters and other German-themed food. A DJ and disco will keep everyone dancing, and to add to the Munich style, revellers are encouraged to dress in Bavarian costume.
Becky Gill, sales manager at Magna, said: “Magna’s huge open spaces make it the perfect venue for revellers to come and joins us for one big party.
“Oktoberfest is always a real highlight on our calendar and we can’t wait to bring Bavaria to Rotherham once again.”
Entry-only tickets for Oktoberfest are £5, with beer and food tokens available on the night. Bierkeller packages, which include entry, drinks and a meal, start from £15.

As well as organising its own events, Magna, which is housed in the former Templeborough steelworks near junction 34 of the M1, hosts corporate events for brands including Mercedes, Royal Mail, Kia Motors and HSBC and boasts a science visitor attraction.
