Magna to share the love as wedding fair returns

27 September 2017

One of South Yorkshire’s biggest and best-attended wedding fairs returns to Magna this weekend.

The popular Rotherham visitor attraction will welcome hundreds of brides-to-be to the free event on Sunday 1 October, between 10am and 3pm.

This year the event has attracted a record number of exhibitors, with up to 40 stands showcasing the very best local suppliers.

Exhibitors include venues, caterers, photographers, make-up artists, pop-up bars, confectioners, jewellers and much more - offering something for the whole bridal party to enjoy.

Earlier this year more than 600 people attended the event and organisers expect numbers to rise.

Becky Gill, sales manager at Magna, said: “Whether you’re newly engaged or making last-minute plans, this weekend’s wedding fair is not to be missed.

“We are delighted to be welcoming back some fantastic exhibitors, as well as introducing new suppliers, to provide all the inspiration you need to create your perfect day – all under one roof.”

As well organising its own programme of exhibitions festivals and parties, Magna hosts corporate events for brands including Mercedes, Royal Mail and Kia Motors, and can cater for up to 5,000 people.

The venue, which offers free parking, stands in the former Templeborough steelworks near junction 34 of the M1. The award-winning visitor attraction is home to more than 100 hands-on exhibits designed to explore the four elements of air, water earth and fire.
