Luxury holiday home company appoints Capital B Media

When I first heard about a new luxury holiday home company just minutes away from our office, I couldn’t wait to find out more.

We were first approached by the owners of Spicer Manor, Lisa and Nicholas, at the end of last year to provide marketing support.

The couple had lovingly restored an old farmhouse in the rural village of Ingbirchworth over a ten-year period, transforming it into a luxury holiday home and events venue. They required marketing support to promote the venue for short breaks, corporate retreats, weddings and special occasions.

We didn’t waste any time getting started, and joined forces with our creative partners, Genius Devision and Creativesmith to work on the branding, website and social media presence.

Spicer Manor had been years in the making, so we knew we were working on something special, and our combined creative approach enabled us to draw on our strengths.

When we were invited for a grand tour of Spicer Manor earlier this year, we took the opportunity to make notes so we could get to work crafting the copy for the website. The viewing provided me with lots of interior inspiration for my first home too!

We were completely blown away by the house. Each room is beautifully decorated and has its own contempory en-suite bathroom. There’s even a cinema and games room, and not to mention the breathtaking views of the surrounding Yorkshire countryside.

Working with Lisa on a project so close to home has been a wonderful experience. As well as continuing our work with Spicer Manor, we’ve been busy working behind the scenes on its sister business, Yorkshire Premier Cottages.

Our work will involve managing their social media presence, copywriting for the new website and printed marketing materials, planning PR and advertising campaigns and drafting and uploading regular blog content.
